Few healthcare organizations offer pharmacists the kind of exposure that GHS can provide. You'll gain invaluable experience with an array of patient populations, procedures and disease states that is practically unparalleled in the field of health care.

Perhaps just as important, our true team approach assures that you will be a valued, vital member of our patient healthcare team. With responsibility for direct patient-care activities and significant influence on the outcome of the patients you serve, you'll have the potential to achieve a level of career satisfaction that is truly unique.

Offering the vast resources, research facilities and state-of-the-art automation of a large, dynamic teaching hospital, GHS offers pharmacists other advantages as well. Working within many different settings, you will have the opportunity to perform pharmacy consults, including kinetics service; patient education (e.g., Coumadin counseling); code response; operational, distributive and clinical pharmacy activities; and pharmacy-resident, student, and technician training.

In addition, you can gain experience in various clinical activities with clinical and educational support from residency-trained, pharmacy clinical-practice specialists.

If you are a highly proactive, positive multitasker and a strong communicator who enjoys continuously learning and applying new concepts while working in many different areas, you might build a long and prosperous career with GHS. We appreciate problem-solvers who have a global perspective on pharmacy services, yet are detail-oriented and dedicated to the needs of the individual patient. A willingness to take personal responsibility for patient care and medication safety will be essential to your success.
