Employee Health & Wellness (EHW) Preparing for your Post Offer Health Assessment Now that a job offer has been made and accepted, you must be cleared by GHS Employee Health and Wellness to attend New Employee Orientation. No exceptions. The screening will take approximately one (1) hour and must be completed prior to new employee orientation. The health screening/vaccines are all free of charge. Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes before your screening. Your appointment will be cancelled if you are more than 5 minutes late. (This can cancel your new employee orientation.) Bring 2 IDs from the List of Acceptable Documents (I-9 Citizenship Form). Your screening will be cancelled if you do not have proper identification. List of current medications and immunization records if available. (Not required) All employees of the Greenville Hospital System are screened upon hire for TB infection with a two-step TB skin test process unless the candidate produces records from a Health Department that no further TB skin tests are required. All employees of the Greenville Hospital System are required to provide documentation of immunizations, or titers documenting immunity for red measles, mumps, German measles, & chicken pox. You will be required to take a urine drug test. You will be required to have an annual influenza vaccine. ( We will accept some documentation of a vaccines administered elsewhere. Employee Health & Wellness decision on acceptable documentation is final. There is no guarantee that your records can or will be accepted. If you do not have documentation of the above identified immunizations, EHW will administer at no cost.) Any additional/needed/required vaccines will be administered after you complete new employee orientation and scheduled by the Employee Health & Wellness Department. Please note – children/babies are not allowed in Employee Health. Your appointment will be cancelled in the event you bring a child. If you are sick or run a fever within 24 hours of your appointment, please call to reschedule. Cancellations: If you for any reason are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please notify your Recruiter (Employment Specialist) immediately. If your appointment is cancelled for any reason by the GHS Employee Health & Wellness office, please notify your Recruiter (Employment Specialist) immediately. Your GHS post offer health assessment screening will be conducted at one of two GHS locations: 1. Greenville Memorial Medical Campus - 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605, Entrance 0 (zero) Greenville Memorial Medical Campus - The Employee Services Center (ESC) aka Human Resources is NOT at the main hospital. Please use entrance zero (0), the Employee Services Center is the first building on the left (single story beige brick building). We have a parking lot directly across the street. Please turn left when you enter the lot and you may park in the 15 min or visitor space or in any space available. or 2. Patewood Medical Campus - 255 Patewood Drive, Suite 102, Greenville, SC 29615 The address is Patewood Drive, building 255, suite 102 (Shared space with the Employee Care Center) of Patewood Center, which used to be known as the Patewood Office Building. It is the building on the campus – closest to the St. Francis Women’s Hospital. The telephone number at Patewood is 454-1067. |
